Flathead Lake Real Estate As we enter the second week of February, there is no mistaking that we are in the heart of the winter season. The ski mountains and the valley floors have good snow cover. According to the SNOTEL Snowpack report, the index for Flathead basin is at 91%. There were two reported sales around the lake for the month of January, providing a solid start to this year's sales. Inventory appears to have stabilized, slightly above last year at this time for residential listings, but down for land listings. Waterfront land inventory has dropped from 9 to 3 listings for the same period last year. The decrease in inventory has resulted in an increased median list price of just below $2.0M. |
